"If you respect and love nature, specifically dolphins, then this is the trip for you. I suppose what I loved most about it is the fact that it’s the opposite of the “sea world” experience where mammals are trapped and trained to perform for our entertainment. Billy is most careful not to interfere with their environment or personal space, rather just observe and let them come to you. He has layers of knowledge about dolphins so tap into it and it makes the experience all the more special. If all our human interactions with nature were like this the world would be all the better for it. Unforgettable. Lovely boat crew, chilled, informed and super responsible."

This tour focused on the health and preservation of our beautiful Florida keys while enjoying all it has to offer. "The boat is comfortable and perfect for enjoying the water. We got to see and learn about dolphins as well as other sea life and history of the keys! We got to swim even in the cooler water with the much appreciated wetsuits. They were also very accommodating of our little ones. Snacks and service was top notch. Can’t say enough about Honest Eco! "The crew was very knowledgeable and able to answer our questions. It’s a very relaxed atmosphere on the boat and in the water. We liked the fact that it was not too crowded with passengers as some companies tend to do. The crew was in no rush to move us from one spot to another. They allowed us extra time to view the dolphins which swam all around the boat. Snorkeling was great. The crew got in the water with us and pointed out what to see. Snacks were good too. Would definitely do again"

Great tour!

"The message of Honest Eco was clearly conveyed through Captain Libby and Deckhand Brady (sorry if I'm miss-remembering that!). They were super knowledgeable and informative! Wet suits were provided on the day we went (water was about 69 degrees, air was about 75). Saw quite a few fish, but the highlight for me was the boat ride, sunbathing on the deck, and learning so much about Key West. Excellent fruit, veggies, and hummus to hold us over until returning to shore (staff had great recommendations on how to spend the rest of the day!). I would absolutely use this company again. This definitely took the guilt out of invasive and pollution-driving tourism for me!"

"We took the dolphin watch tour on the boat Squid this week. What an incredible experience. The crew was so knowledgeable and I learned so much about dolphins and the coral reef. We got to snorkel and saw beautiful fish including tarpon and grouper. The snacks were delicious and the day was so memorable. Their boat was clean and comfortable, plenty of room for everyone to feel comfortable. Just an overall incredibly memorable experience for us and our key west trip. I can’t wait to come back and go back out with Honest Eco! I would highly recommend this charter to anyone!"

The tour did not feel at all "touristy,"

"My friends and I enjoyed our tour. We got to see dolphins and sea turtles, and did some good snorkeling. The boat was very clean, and the crew was laid-back and fun. (I think at least one of the crew members had a degree in something related to marine biology, so they were able to answer questions and share interesting information about the wildlife, too.) The tour did not feel at all "touristy," as opposed to some of the other options in Key West. Note that you'll likely be cold after getting back on the boat after snorkeling, so it pays to bring a sweater fleece and possibly a windbreaker. Some might also want to bring a neoprene top to keep them warm while in the water."

"My family did the dolphin and snorkel tour and it was the highlight of our trip. We were lucky and saw so many dolphins all around us and one even swam up to the boat and put on a little show for us. That dolphin was just as curious about us, as we were about him. One of the main things that really stood out was that right after we saw the dolphins we were headed to a snorkeling spot when we got caught in a storm. Due to the storm, the captain had canceled the snorkeling part of the trip since it wasn’t safe for us to be in the water but after getting us safely out of the storm's reach the captain was able to find us some safe water to snorkel. It was amazing! We saw sponges, fish, crabs, and lobsters. This company is very conscious about the beautiful environment and highly knowledgeable about it as well. Another thing that my family loved was that the tour size was small which allowed for a very personalized experience. If my family and I go back to key west this will be the company we use 100%. "The Honest Eco Tour was a perfect ending to my vacation in Key West! The four hour afternoon tour went so fast! Sara and Rachel were first-rate in every way! Their knowledge and enthusiasm for marine life was infectious! They helped settle any nerves about snorkeling for first-timers like myself! Their explanations were thorough and easy to understand. We hadn’t been out on the water very long before we saw dolphins. The clarity of the water at the Key West Wildlife Refuge was amazing, and we spent a 1/2 hour snorkeling. Rachel explained what we were seeing underwater, and it was like having Google there to answer any questions! The fresh veggies and homemade hummus were delish on the ride out, and the fresh fruit and warming blankets hit the spot after snorkeling on our way back to shore. The boat is really cool, too, so quiet. If you like nature, I highly recommend this tour."
